Apply to be an official venue by hiring a Blues band!

How it works:

1. Hire a band to play at your establishment

2. We will:

• promote your band and establishment

• staff your door with our volunteers for event nights to sell admission bracelets

• help you hire the band, if needed

• help offset the cost of the band by contracting them for a performance in Confederation Park… limited spots available

The Catch:

• We want you to hire a decent & fresh blues band (we can help)

• We want you to accept the blues bracelet as the ONLY admission to your establishment

• Contact us at 613-542-8677 or  to tell us who you’ve booked or to talk about prospects and possibilities!

• If you’ve already booked a band – please email to let us know asap!

OPPORTUNITIES FOR FOOD & BEVERAGE

• Offer a locally sourced, “southern” style dinner item during the 4 days of the festival and serve it from 5pm (or whenever service begins) for all 4 evenings 

• Offer a local beverage with the meal  Price as you wish 

• Send your item, beverage information & price to jan@downtownkingston.ca by Friday August 19th at the latest so we can promote

Downtown Kingston will: 

• Publish a flyer listing all restaurants and their offerings

• Publish a map on the back of the flyer showing locations of restaurants 

• List on our blues page on downtownkingston.ca

• Promote the heck out of this on social media!
